Goodwin's Theory :

Goodwin's theory allows there to be a relationship between visuals and lyrics, that allows the music video to be successful.

Genre Characteristics : Demonstrating their young boy band within the video because of them, with youthful energy, this can appeal to the teen audience as well as having the pop convention. 

Lyrics and visuals : the lyrics are reinforced in the music video, the lyrics speak about being beautiful as a car with young women drives past on the screen 

Music and Visuals : the song is cheerful an upbeat which links with the vibe of the music video, (on a beach with a group of boys having fun, etc), it also reflects the positivity throughout the music video. 

Close-ups and Motifs : the constant close up of the individual band members whilst doing their solo's allows them to have their moment of stardom, furthermore they are able to connect with the audience personally

Intertextual Reference : their video resonates with the music videos and boy bands such as Duran Duran with Rio, both are very similar and are on a beach surrounded by beautiful women

Richard Dyer :

His star theory enables us to understand how stars and celebrities are successful, he explains that a star isn't born, they are built. Furthermore he explains the paradox of a star, that they have to be ordinary enough to relate to but insane enough to look up to.

This version is a fuller version of the first one, with insights into the newspaper above the masthead, this was inspired by the 2023 Sam Fender big issue. Furthermore, the same with the first one I would improve this by having a black background instead of white, and the red writing would be in white and the rest in red.

I tried to incorporate some of the stranger things inside facts into my front cover, for example the well known upside down. Furthermore, if I could improve this, in stead of the background being white, I would make it black and the writing red, however this was completed on my iPad and therefore I was not able to include these ideas.
